About Me
I am an artist based in London. I was born in Sicily into a very musical family, linked to classical and traditional music, and I have played the piano since I was little and as a teenager, I discovered that I had an infinite passion for the instrument and music in general.
Since my first steps as an artist and musician in my hometown, Palermo, I have been fortunate enough to significantly enrich my experience, experimenting and embracing various musical, theatrical, television and cinematographic styles, sharing the stage with renowned musicians and actors of the Italian and international scene such as Enzo Randisi, Giuseppe Urso, Sergio Munafo’, Enzo Zirilli, Giuseppe Costa, Vito Giordano, Giuseppe Milici, Gaetano Riccobono, Vincenzo Palermo, Jay Blackfoot (Italian Tour 1990), Luigi Maria Burruano, Klaus Maria Brandauer (Mario and the Magician, Film 1994) Giacomo Civiletti, Ernesto Maria Ponte, Roberta Mantegna, and many others.
Since 1997, having moved to London to study at SAE (School of Audio Engineering), I have produced and collaborated in the studio with many English artists.
I love playing synthesizers with which I develop original sounds and sound atmospheres, I have played the Fender Rhodes with pop/rock groups, the acoustic piano with jazz groups, the pipe organ in churches, the harpsichord with chamber music groups.
Composition and Performances
I have written music and arranged songs for comedy shows (cabaret), children’s shows, TV commercials, songs for jazz-rock bands and Latin groups and more recently I have dedicated my creativity to composing in my home studio Ambient Music.
In addition to performing solo piano, I perform in various ensembles. In duos with various singers and instrumentalists, jazz trios and quartets, funk, and rock groups, I arrange and compose songs on request in musical styles ranging from soundtracks to pop demos and rearrangements of great successes on the world music repertoire.
I play regularly in London’s most famous hotels such as the Ritz, the Savoy, the Four Seasons, The Raffles London at the OWO Whitehall and many others, and I teach piano privately and in schools.
Piano Music On Demand
I recently developed a new project called Piano Music On Demand, on a YouTube channel, where I perform original piano arrangements of musical pieces and pieces from various repertoires, providing the scores of my performances on request. Also original Ambient Music.
Piano Tuition
I have been a teacher at SCOLA (Sutton College Of Learning for Adults), and currently teach children at St Elphege’s RC Schools, St Mary’s Catholic Schools and Merton Music Foundation. I also teach privately in my home studio and on visits.
